Mowing the Lawn with Daddy

Erich decided to mow the grass tonite, and Carter immediately got the bubble mower out and started to imitate Erich. This is the first year that he has really understood what was going on, but it was so cute the way he would watch Erich and then copy whatever he was doing. Of course Anah had to get in on the action, too.

Donuts with Dad

Erich brought home donuts this morning for the kids and I came out from the bedroom and he had them set up at the breakfast bar...it was just too cute!

Carter finds the piles of grass

Erich spent two days raking up the dead grass in the yard and it doesn't take Carter but two seconds to find the piles of grass to play in...who would have guessed?

Loads of Laundry

Anah belts out a tune

Anah decided to sing her favorite song she has learned at daycare, You are My Sunshine...I was impressed she even knew a second verse! I don't think she will ever be a singer--you can definetly tell she has vocal cord nodules, her voice is cracky and scratchy threw the song---It is still pretty, darn cute if I do say so myself. Guitar Hero

Grandma and Lynee came over tonite and TRIED to play Guitar Hero. Anah and Carter had to help out. Needless to say, it didn't help Grandma and Lynee do any better!

Carter's Special Shoes

We went to the shoe store to buy Carter some new tennis shoes. He found these Crocs and fell in love with them and he hasn't taken them off since. The first night home he would't even take them off to go to sleep---he slept with them on!! He is a crazy little kid!

Anah made some art projects at daycare today. And Carter just wanted to say Hi!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! The kids woke up this morning to find that the Easter Bunny had left their baskets full of goodies and eggs hidden in the house full of chocolate.

After that, they put on their Easter clothes to get ready for church. Doesn't Carter look handsome? And Anah looks beautiful?

The kids left a note for the Easter Bunny. It said to please leave chocolate and candy. Anah signed her own name. They left carrots out for the Easter Bunny.

Bounce Party at the Stamans!

After many months of promising Anah the Bounce house if she pooped on the potty....she FINALLY DID IT! So, we opened up the box and blew up the bounce house in the living room to celebrate her accomplishment. Hopefully she keeps it up now!
