Anah

So we were out to eat and Anah was being naughty. Lynee asked her why she couldn't be good. Anah just responded by saying

" God made me different."

What do you say to that?

What goes thru little kids heads?

I just told her, yes, God did make everyone special. Otherwise it would be very boring if everyone was the same :)

Update

Yeah, Carter didn't stay in his bed all night, up by 11:30. He must have had a bad dream or something. Oh well, we will try for another night.

Carter's first night in his big boy bed.

We finally converted Carter's crib to a full size bed. He was so excited to finally be in a big bed. He went to bed tonite and stayed in it to go to sleep and we never heard a peep. I will have to update you in the morning to see if he stayed in the bed all night. Let's hope that is true!

And of course I had to take a picture of Sleeping Beauty - Anah!

4th of July - Basement Remodel

4th of July was spent framing in the basement and wiring the basement. The Raterink side of the family came over and helped us out. What an awesome job they did!!

Anah is Stuck!

Anah found some super glue and decided to squirt it on the floor in the basement. She then stepped in the glue with her bare feet. After that she called to me to come over and see her. I told her to come and see me. She said no, come and see her. And then she said she was stuck. Walking over there I found her stuck and of course I only had acetone free nail polish remover. The neighbors were nice enough to go to their parent's house to get some mineral spirits so we could free Anah from the cement floor. Her foot finally came off the floor but she left some skin behind. She was not very happy. She was very freaked out by all of this.

Little Miss Thing

Anah decides to do her hair and add a little jewels to her style...and don't forget the shoes!! Can you see the attitude?

Crazy Carter

So there is Anah modeling for pictures, and then there is Carter....take my picture!! And he puts a hanger over his head?? He is a crazy little kid...

My Little Model

I was taking pictures and Anah insisted on me taking some pictures of her, so she posed for these pictures...she is quite the little model.

Carter's New Coon Hat

Great Grandma and Grandpa Raterink went out west and brought back a coon hat for Carter. He thought it was great. It reminded me of my youngest cousin Doug. He wore one around when he was little all the time. Carter looks just as cute as Doug did!!

Running thru the Sprinkler

Aunt Aelise got Anah a new sprinkler for her birthday so they had to test it out. They were a little scared at first, but once they got over that, they had a ton of fun.
